Starting Friday, September 28
H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival
Admission: Tickets start at $12 and can be purchased here. This film festival celebrates the work of famed American science fiction and horror author H.P. Lovecraft through various works from professional and amateur filmmakers. Enjoy creepy features, weird short films, including a special animated block featuring South Park, author readings, the Mall of Cthulhu and more. Knott’s Scary Farm 40th Haunt
Ends October 31

City of Irvine Global Village Festival
Saturday, September 29 10 AM to 6 PM
Admission: FREE. Food tasting tickets are available for purchase at the event. Tickets are $1 each. Celebrate Irvine’s cultural diversity! The event includes over 100 performers on five stages, traditional cuisine items, a marketplace filled with gifts, arts and crafts, cultural displays and a kids village. 74th Annual Mid-Autumn Moon Festival
Saturday, September 29 5 PM to 11 PM
Admission: FREE. The Moon Festival or Zhongqiu Festival is a popular harvest festival celebrated by the Chinese dating back over 3,000 years. Experience lion dancers, kung fu artists, hands-on workshops, art gallery openings, food trucks, arts and crafts, and more. Location: Chinatown Central and West Plaza, 943-951 N. 4th Annual LA Beer Festival
Sunday, September 30 12 PM to 4 PM
Admission: $50. Ticket price includes unlimited beer samples, plus food and non-alcoholic samples. Food will be available for purchase via various food trucks. The event will feature over 70 artisan breweries – local, regional, national and international. Location: Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles, 800 N. Alameda Street in Los Angeles, CA 90012.
