Costs and details: JCPenney portraits studios free offer includes sitting fees, a printed 8×10 portrait and a digital copy of the same pose (in low resolution). Customers may also select and order 36 or more 4×7 greeting cards featuring their photo for 50 cents per card. This offer ends on 11/30/2012. Long Beach Turkey Trot
Event starts at 7 AM
Admission: $40. Get moving before hitting up the turkey and mashed potatoes. Choose from a 7 AM, 9 AM or 10 AM run/walk. 5 K or 10K options are available, but check the event website for availability and details. Location: 1 Bennett Avenue in Long Beach, CA.
33rd Annual Harry Sutter Memorial Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot Fun Run
Check-in/registration: 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM
Fun Run begins at 8 AM
Admission: $35. Another Thanksgiving run to get your body moving! A post-run drawing will also take place. Participants are encouraged to bring canned food items to help those in need throughout the South Bay. Visit the event website for more details. Old Pasadena Holiday Celebration
4 PM to 8 PM
Admission: FREE. Enjoy 20 tons of snow on Pasadena’s Holly Street along with reindeer, a kid’s craft area, holiday painting classes, live music and choral performances, a tree lighting ceremony (on Hugus Alley – One Colorado Courtyard) and Santa himself.
