25 cent Family Flicks at the Chinese Theatres

Admission: $0.25-$1.25. To celebrate it’s 85th birthday, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre has launched 25 cent-a-ticket offerings for families. The 25 cent admissions take place on Saturdays only, during the months of July and August. Movies begin at 10 AM. This Saturday (7/28) enjoy Kung Fu Panda 1. Pacific Grooves Music and Arts Festival

Admission: $43.50-$105; Children 10 and under are free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.  Set to be the largest Pacific Islander Music festival in the world, the event will include various performances by top recording artists like Sean Paul, Gyptain and The Jets. Other attractions include various vendors, a kiddy groves carnival, lowrider car show, BMX bike stunts and graffiti exhibition, and a career/job fair. 19th Annual Long Beach Crawfish Festival

Sunday, July 29 12 PM to 10 AM
Admission: $13-$35; Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Delicious Cajun Crawfish dinners, prepared Louisiana-style! Dinners include red baby potatoes, buttery corn on the cob with remoulade dipping sauce. Enjoy Cajun and Zydeco bands and join the Second Line Dancing Parade featuring New Orleans High Steppers. 19th Annual Oxnard Salsa Festival

Admission: FREE; parking is also free. Savor dozens of different salsas made by local restaurants and salsa vendors in the festival’s Salsa Tasting Tent. Enjoy salsa music and dances performed by local salsa and Latin jazz bands, shopping supplied by more than 75 craft and retail vendors and plenty of food and drinks offered in two international food courts. Tickets for The Railroad Revival Tour 2012 go on sale this Friday, July 28 at 8 AM. Join Willie Nelson & Family, Band of Horses, Jamey Johnson, John Reilly & Friends.
