Admission: $0.25-$1.25. To celebrate it’s 85th birthday, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre has launched 25 cent-a-ticket offering for families on Saturday at its Chinese 6 theatres. The 25 cent admission take place on Saturdays only, during the months of July and August. Movies begin at 10 AM. Location: Chinese Theatres, 6801 Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, CA 90028. Aquarium of the Pacific’s First Annual 5K Race

Registration Fee: $32.00 – $52.00. The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach is hosting its first ever 5K Run/Walk. Admission to the Aquarium is included in the registration fee. Location: 100 Aquarium Way in Long Beach, California 90802 (Corner of Shoreline Drive and Aquarium Way).  The scenic course consists of a 5K loop (about 3.11 miles) around the Aquarium. Concert in the Park – Library Park in El Segundo
Sunday, July 22. Activities begin at 4 PM
Admission: FREE. Concerts begin at 4:30 PM. This Sunday, check out the Funk-O-Matics, a 70’s and 80’s cover band. The event is open to all ages. Kids are encouraged to stop by the park’s gazebo for free face painting and  arts & crafts. Local food vendors will also be present. Murals Under the Stars at MOLAA (Museum of Latin American Art)

Admission: $15-$30. Murals under the Stars is an outdoor multimedia show by Gregorio Luke, where images are projected on a 100 x 30 foot wall. This Sunday’s presentation will also include a live Mariachi band, Mariachi Imperial. Location: Museum of Latin American Art, 628 Alamitos Avenue in Long Beach, CA 90813.
