Chill at the Queen Mary
Admission: Various prices. Please check the Queen Mary website for ticket prices. The Queen Mary is proud to bring an enchanting winter event to the South Bay – open to the entire family. Walk through The Ice Kingdom to see larger-than-life ice sculptures, enjoy outdoor tubing, practice your ice skating skills and take a stroll through their Holiday Village. Circus Vargas
Various times happening Thursday until December 10
Admission: Various prices, $20-$65. Please check here for ticket prices. Take the kids out to enjoy a “big-top circus with a touch of Broadway”. Location: Ports O’Call Village, 1199 Nagoya Way in San Pedro. Visit the event website for more details.

Starting Friday, December 7
Long Beach Progressive International Motorcycle Show
Show will run from 12/7 to 12/9
Friday: 4 PM to 9 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM to 8 PM
Sunday: 9:30 AM to 5 PM
Admission: $13-30. Children under 6 are FREE. Cash only on site. Ticket prices and purchasing options can be found here. The show will feature street bikes, dirt bikes, cruisers, scooters, side-by-sides and ATVs for new and experienced riders. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, this is where you want to be! The event will also feature bike building competitions, new bike and gear displays, seminars, giveaways, and a kids zone. Receive free motorcycle parking and a complimentary gear check if you ride to the show. Location: Long Beach Convention Center, 300 E. Ocean Boulevard in Long Beach.

Saturday, December 8 
4th Street Annual Holiday Open House
2 PM to 8 PM
Admission: FREE. Stay local and shop local! At this event, you’ll be able to shop for vintage items, kiddie toys, beauty items, books, vinyl, gift certificates, home furniture and accessories, and more. Food trucks will be in attendance as well as an Elvis Santa to snap photos with (5 PM to 8 PM only). Free gift wrapping at The Center (2017 E. 4th) will also be available. Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade
Fireworks begin at 5:55 PM
Parade: 6 PM to 8 PM

Sunday, December 9, 2012
Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks
Two shows this year: 7 PM and 8:30 PM
Admission: FREE. The event starts at dusk with Christmas music at the pier. Manhattan Beach Boulevard will be blocked off to give way for hundreds of families, couples and singles. Several restaurants and bars will be packed and full of festive decor. Location: Manhattan Beach Boulevard and the Strand in Manhattan Beach. Visit the event website for more details.
