iProtect Testimonial: ‘Thank you ILWU Credit Union’

Late last year, I became a victim of burglary. My home was ransacked and to make matter worse, my laptop was stolen. The computer contained personal information such as my social security number and date of birth. I was scared.

Could my identity be compromised and my financial reputation ruined? Identifiable data about me was now in the wrong hands and I couldn’t wait to see what would or could happen. No one in a similar scenario should wait. I had to act. After the fear and panic settled, I remembered that I was enrolled in iProtect through the ILWU Credit Union. The next day, I visited the office and spoke with a Member Services representative to start the investigation process.

The process only took five minutes. I was informed me that I would receive a call from an identity theft advocate (from iProtect). That same afternoon, I received that call. After iProtect verified my information, I received a clear break-down of their services. Phone or email alerts would notify me of any suspicious activity revolving around my social security number, and my credit would be continuously monitored for any discrepancies.

And that’s pretty much my story. As a result of my enrollment with iProtect, I was able to act instantly and so far, neither my funds or credit have been compromised. I have piece of mind knowing that ILWU Credit Union and iProtect are looking out for me. Thank you ILWU Credit Union!
