“There’s an App for…”
Let’s cut right to the chase. For several months now, we’ve heard members request and inquire about an official ILWU Credit Union mobile app. We agree with those that feel that a bookmark just isn’t enough. With that said, we are pleased to announce that we are working on an official mobile app and plan to release it later this year! As usual, we will post updates on Facebook and here (our blog).
Speaking of shiny and new things, let’s talk about your website. Our site is not the best – we know this and are very happy to announce that a new design and page will be coming in 2012. Change is a good thing folks!
A Little Extra Help (from technology)
A friendly reminder to all: If you have ever have trouble getting through our automated telephone system, CU Talk (or Max), don’t forget that you have access to all your account information through online and mobile banking. To access your account online, just visit our website and enter your login information. For mobile banking, enter mobile.banking.org into your smartphone’s internet browser and enter your account information. Online and mobile banking is a BIG help with the following:
Waiting for a check to clear? Why not set-up an alert to monitor activity on your ILWUCU account such as low funds, incoming deposits, balances, etc? Check out this video that shows you how to set-up alerts.
Making a check out to yourself? Give us a call and request a check (made to yourself) and have it ready for pick-up on the same day. If you are not able to pick up your check, it will be mailed to you at the end of the business day. Friendly reminder: We do not hold checks overnight.
Transferring from your ILWU Credit Union account to another bank account (i.e. a bank account outside the ILWU Credit Union). You can use Bill Pay to transfer funds to another bank account – either your own, a friend’s or relative’s account. The transfer takes 3 business days to complete.
