Thank You for a Great 2011

Before ringing in the new year, we’d like to thank you, our ¬†members and friends, for your loyalty and trust. And let’s not forget all the friendly smiles – we’re extremely thankful for those too. It’s been a pleasure serving all of you, and we look forward to doing more in 2012. Below are a few words from some members of our management team. They share why 2011 was a great one for them and the ILWU Credit Union.

2011 was a phenomenal year. We saw the return of lower mortgage rates; low auto rates and special VIP Longshoreman auto pricing; and the introduction of social media. The Facebook commitments illustrate the close relationship we have formed with our members. We are family.
Guillermo J., Director of Marketing

Bank Transfer Day was the little bow on the end-of-year package. The event allowed us to showcase the ILWU Credit Union philosophy, which revolves around a ‘no fee’ environment. We always have the members’ best interests in mind and the event reminded our membership of this. Anytime a movement allows someone new to see what we have to offer, the feeling is rewarding especially after it leads to new great members and relationships.¬†
Kim T., Vice President of Member Services

This year was really exciting because we were able to help so many members with their financial needs, especially in the mortgage area where so many members took advantage of our historically low interest rates. Good loans + great rates = happy faces.
Pete K., Vice President of Lending

Our blog will be back in action next year (and week). Happy New Year everyone! See you all in 2012.
